BSc, DDS, MSD, Cert Pros, FRCDC is the Founder, Program Director, and Faculty Chief of the Canadian Academy of Advanced Dentistry

Dr. Jeff Ceyhan grew up in Montreal and received his DDS from McGill University, as well as his MSD and specialty certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Washington. Dr. Ceyhan is a Royal College of Dentists of Canada fellow, examiner, and former chief oral examiner. He has been a guest lecturer to dental students at McGill University and periodontal residents at the University of British Columbia, as well as a published author in peer-reviewed dental journals and textbooks. Dr. Ceyhan is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, where he lectures to undergraduates, prosthodontic and periodontic graduate students, and mentors and lectures to dentists from all over North America. Dr. Ceyhan has been in private practice for 30+ years and his prosthodontic practice in Calgary, Alberta, focuses on complex implant dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation cases.

DDS, Md, msc, OMFS, FRCDC is the co-founder, co-director and Chief Surgical Faculty of the Canadian Academy of Advanced Dentistry

Dr. Graham Cobb was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario. He completed his dental school, medical school, and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He then went on to complete a surgery fellowship in Portland, Oregon, at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and the Providence Portland Hospital. Upon completion of training, Dr. Cobb joined the faculty at Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario) as a full-time Professor and instructor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency training program, and to undergraduate dentistry, before re-locating to Calgary, Alberta. Dr. Cobb continues to be involved in the regular teaching of students, residents and study clubs members in Calgary. Dr. Cobb is a fellow and examiner of the Royal College of Dentists in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

dr. Chandur wadhwani

BDS, MSD, Cert Pros

Dr. Wadhwani received his BDS from University College Hospital, London, and an MSD and Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Washington. He is in full-time private practice in Bellevue, Washington. He was awarded distinguished lecturer 2018 at the ACP and has received awards for research from multiple societies. He speaks internationally and has contributed to seven textbooks related to implant restoration, and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles. He has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at the FOR group (Foundation of Oral Rehabilitation) and holds the following university appointments:

Oregon Health Sciences University:  Affiliate associate professor graduate periodontics.

University of Washington: Affiliate assistant professor- restorative department

Loma Linda University: Adjunct assistant professor advanced education program in prosthodontics

dr. Xavier Lepe

Dr. Lepe obtained his BS and DDS degrees from Universidad de Guadalajara, received his MS and Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics from the Loyola University Chicago and obtained his Prosthodontic Board Certification in Mexico. Dr. Lepe is a published author in peer-reviewed journals and has served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Operative Journal. Dr. Lepe has lectured in the USA and Mexico. He is a member of several local, national and international dental societies and is past president of the Washington State Society of Prosthodontics and Circulo de Estudios Odontologicos de Guadalajara. Dr. Lepe has been an Associate Professor and Director of Preclinical Fixed Prosthodontics, University of Washington School of Dentistry since 1993. From 1986 – 1993 he was a full-time Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago.

dr. Miller Smith

DDS, md, MSc, OMFS, FRCDC

Dr. Miller Smith is a native of Calgary, Alberta and completed his Oral Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Michigan. He then completed a fellowship post in Head and Neck Oncology, Microvascular Surgery and Craniofacial Reconstruction in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is actively involved in the Cleft Lip and Palate/Craniofacial and Multidisciplinary Dental programs at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and is on the Head and Neck Tumour Board at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. He is involved in training Hospital Dentistry, Plastic Surgery, and Otolaryngology residents, and teaches undergraduate dental students and Orthodontic residents at the University of Alberta. He has published numerous articles and co-authored several textbook chapters with a special interest in Tissue Engineering. He has a special interest in complex implant rehabilitation and has been a member and course leader of several local implant study clubs.

Dr. Igor pesun

Dr. Igor Pesun is Associate Professor and the Graduate Prosthodontic Program Director in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Manitoba. He completed his dental education at the University of Manitoba, and a General Practice Residency at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Canada. He attended the Medical College of Georgia's (Currently Augusta University) Graduate Prosthodontic Program and received a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Masters in Oral Biology. Dr Pesun is a Board Certified Prosthodontist in both the USA and Canada. He is also a Board Examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Prosthodontics. He is active in clinical dental research and has published both scientific and clinical articles. He was awarded the Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award and is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He serves as a reviewer for a number of national and international dental journals. His research focuses on clinical evaluation of the short and long term outcome of treatments and he has lectured internationally on clinical practice and educational methodologies.

Dr. Alexander Shor received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Washington. Dr. Shor is an affiliate assistant professor at the University of Washington and maintains a full time dental practice limited to prosthodontics and restorative dentistry in Seattle, WA. He has special interests in the areas of tooth replacement and dental technology. Dr. Shor has authored numerous publications in the field of prosthodontics and dental technology. He lectures extensively for local dental organizations and study clubs and for national and international organizations.
