Individual monitors and workstations for each Dr. during the hands on sessions ensure everybody can see.
Each Dr. gets direct supervision with CAAD specialists during the hands-on of Module I.
Individualized step by step review of the flap procedure, osteotomy drilling sequence and suturing.
Dr. Cobb demonstrating on live video the drilling sequence so Dr.’s can follow along at their workstations.
Dr. Miller Smith demonstrating incision and suturing basics for implant surgery.
Complete review of the Straumann surgical kits is repeated through each day of the Module.
Each station is fully equipped for the porcine mandible drilling exercises, incision and suturing exercises.
Audio-visual review with lectures the day before the Hands-on component.
Module 2
Live implant surgery on patients and sterile operatory set up procedures
Assistants course the day before the live surgeries on how to set up and turn over the sterile operatories.
Our CAAD specialists are always with you as you do your patient surgeries.
CAAD’s certified nurses and dental assistants are always in each operatory to help us as needed.
Dr.’s “practice” their live patient surgery the day before on custom casts of their own patient.
Dr. Miller Smith reviewing the surgical set up and the sequencing of the surgery.
Each Dr. will place implants on their own patient and assist in placing implants on another patient.
Review of sterilization requirements and implant kit set up with your dental assistants.
Dr. Cobb lends a helping hand with a sinus lift procedure.
Repetition and review is key so you are confident on the day of surgery and after.
Module 3
Restoring Implants from integration check, to Impressions, to abutment selection, to Provisionals, to final restoration and occlusion.
Dr. Jeff Ceyhan reviews emergence profile for Hands-on portion.
CAAD staff review the steps of provisional fabrication and checking of fit with each Dr.
All Dr’s. get to make 2 digital impressions and 2 traditional impressions
Hands-on: Learn 3 different impression techniques and when to use them
Each Dr. will have their own lab bench station to learn provisional contouring.
